Jared Degear

Bio

Jared Degear is the newest Legal Assistant for Lam Law Firm, starting in November of 2023. Born on a dairy farm in Upstate New York, he grew up in a family that taught him hard work and a love of animals. Jared and his family moved to the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee in 1997, where they quickly became UT VOLS fans (Go Big Orange!). It was here that he graduated from Pellissippi State Community College with an Associates in Arts. More recently, Jared again moved with his partner to Myrtle Beach and has since fallen in love with the community. 

Jared joined our firm in November of 2023 as a legal assistant, putting to use his 20 years of managerial, organizational, and training skills. His enthusiastic voice is the first you hear when you call the firm, as he will ensure everyone is treated with honor, dignity, and respect.
